I'm trying to remove the buttstock of a 1955 Remington 11-48. I was able to un-screw the action spring tube nut, but the stock is just as tight as ever. Am I missing something with the 11-48? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks, Gent. Little bump given, and the top-most lock washer fell out, leaving the stock 'wiggly' left and right but not sliding at all along the action tube. I just want to make sure there's nothing else now except that next (flat) washer holding the stock on. I'll try a few more little bumps.
