Guys, someone out there makes removable ribs that attach to guns current rib using double sided tape. I know this sounds tacky (no pun intended), but they actually worked quite well and looked nice. I have spent considerable time on internet, but can't find them. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rance.

I remember "Scott"? Somebody who used to post threads here. The name "hy or hideal comes to mind but the net doesn't recognize such an address.

The fellow who makes or made the ribs sent me one to look at and it was beautiful, almost a work of art. He has not posted a thread here for quite a while and I vaguely remember reading a thread that he was difficult to contact.

Yes, it was Hydeal. Scott's email address is hydeal@qwest.net.

Google "hydeal ribs" and all sorts of information will appear.

Much complimentory information has been posted about Keensights ribs.

the pics are for Keensights and they use adhesive and are great ribs.
Scot Syde of Hydeal sends the ribs with tape installed on the rib and you peel ans stick.
I can not find his number but some one will post it.

Hydeal is Scott Hyde: www.hydeal@qwest.net; tel. (509)276-9227. Excellent ribs in 5/16" and 3/8" widths; 1/4,3/8/,1/2, and 5/8" heights, but they are parallel-not tapered top to bottom. Standard length 28" or 32"; or you can special order any length at a little extra cost. You can also have the front sight hole tapped to you specs. It comes with a hole for a mid bead. Prices start around $75.
I got same day delivery on mine. Excellent quality and service.
