Got this info from a friend and ya'll might be interested. Look at the flap on the box of shells and figure out the code?? First letter is the period of time they were made. A=first 6 months of 2006, B= second 6 months of 2006, C= first 6 months of 2007 D= second 6 months of 2007 and so on. You can figure this out. The next 2 numbers are the day of the month the shells were made--that's easy. The next two letters have something to do with production shift and not important. The last 3 numbers are the number of the machine that produced the shells. Seems like 510 might be the most popular and largest production machine running. Not sure if you can use this info, but it might help to figure how long the shells have been sitting in your garage or storage area. By the way. If you are having problems with gun club shells and have had some that did not go off, please contact me at above or PM with the flap code. Thanks Motordoc
