According to the Hodgdon powder site, one load that is pretty close is the STS hull, Remington 209 primer, Fig-8 wad, 1 1/8 oz shot, and 19.6 grains of International Clays (7,000 LUP, 1145 fps). You can get to the online loading manual at the link above.

    Hull (STS)
    Primer (209P)
    Wad (Fig 8)
and Remington shot if you can get your hands on it.

Powder? 17.5 grains of e3 or 19 grains of Red Dot. According to Alliant, the powder they provided Remington for those shells is in between e3 and Red Dot in burn speed, and that the proper amount of either of those powders should get you very close to the factory load.

My favorite from Hogdon's site, but I substitute the TGT12 wad for better crimps.<br>

From what Slick13 said and looking at Hodgdon's data for IMR 700X with Rem STS hull, Rem 209P, Fig 8 wad, 18.0 gr of 700X would fall almost half way between the Red Dot and e3 load.

Shotshell's recipe with Titegroup is almost exactly what I use, except I substitute the Downrange DRRT-12 wad.

The KEY in my mind, is to use good, hard shot like Remington or Lawrence.
