1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

The gun (a 223AI) is built on a matte (not the SPS but the good finished) Remington 700 action with a 24" SS Broughton 1-8 (may be 1-7 would have to check to be sure but was twisted to be able to shoot 75 gr A-Max). The muzzle diameter is .950. The trigger is set to one pound two oz. according to my trigger pull scale. The trigger is a Rifle Basix with the safety and bolt release. The wart was removed and replaced with a new firing pin assembly/shroud.
Tooley Custom did the action work, ground the recoil lug and threaded and chambered the barrel.
The stock is a McMillan BR stock that I took in on trade. It was already bedded so I just ruffed up the bedding and skim bedded it. The stock needs a paint job.

I am sure I am forgetting something, so feel free to ask any questions you want.
The barrel has approx 30 rounds down it just to blow some brass out and get the scope close. No load work has been done for either the 223 form loads or the 223AI.

Oh, the scope/rings/bases are not included, and I am asking $1200 for it shipped to your FFL in the USA.
REDUCED TO $1100 SHIPPED TO YOUR FFL IN THE U.S.A. SOLD PENDING FUNDS

    Thanks
    John

I can't quite read the what's engraved on the barrel is the 2nd photo but it looks like .223AI .248" neck" - is this correct? If the neck diameter is engraved on the barrel it usually means the case necks need to "turned" to make them smaller - and you can't use any factory ammo.

Do you need to turn the necks?

The neck diameter is .249 and was cut as a -no turn neck- (semi tight neck) using Winchester brass.

    Thanks for asking.
