1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

No, it's the correct stock for that gun. 541-S stocks had faux rosewood accents while 541-Ts had black as in the photo. Also, there never was a heavy-barrel 541-S, so one of those stocks wouldn't accept that barrel.

541-Ts had a dull, muddy wood finish, so that stock's finish was probably rubbed out with compound. That was a popular "fix" for that finish.

Cool, I saw one on Gunbroker a while back that someone had put one on after opening the barrel channel. It was good looking. Jeff

By the way, those things are extremely accurate. Their barrels have match throats, which precludes the use of most hyper-velocity ammo like CCI Stingers because those cases are extended, causing the bullets of unfired rounds to become stuck in the rifling and the case rim to pull out of the extractors. The only such ammo that has a standard-length case (to my knowledge) is Remington's Yellow Jacket.

541s - in S or T trim - are very highly sought after. I have 541-Ts in both barrel types and they just drill one-hole groups at 50 yards with Federal GameShok 38-grain hollow-point hunting loads. CCI MiniMags are almost as accurate - in fact, their slightly higher velocity variation is likely the only reason they aren't just as accurate as the Federals.

It has the "T" stock. The forend, pistol grip cap and butt plate are black on the "T's" the "S's" have a rosewood looking forend, pistol grip cap and butt plate.
