Good afternoon and thanks for taking the time to read this.

I have recently acquired a gorgeous Remington 3200 Trap that has had all upgrades performed. Even though the forend is not cracked and most likely never will, I would like to remove the high-powered ejection springs. I put all of my empties into a shell caddy trap pouch, regardless of whether I will reload them. The "snap" and wear and tear on the gun is just not worth it IMO.

Has anyone done this? Can you step me through how to go about it? I'm not sure how to remove the hardware from the forend wood, as a place to start. I'm relatively handy, but don't want to start messing with the gun before I know what the proper steps are.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Best Regards-
