I was in my local sporting goods store and I noticed on the rack a model 31 Remington,30in,solid rib full. When I looked closer at it the model number on the side was model 31-S? I have a field model, and a T/C trap model,What does the "s" mean. I never seen that before, and I would think if it was a skeet model it would be a 26" ,skeet or imp. cyl. barrel, not full? Any ideas, thanks.

The 31 S is also known as the Trap Special. It was a lower priced trap gun--below the 31 TC Model. Nice guns--buy it if the price is right!!

I have a 31L marked trap, but I can't find one in the books I have.

If memory serves me the 31L has an alloy receiver, the L denoted light weight. Don't think there were too many TCs with the alloy receiver so you may have an unusual TC. Ross Puls
