I need to know if there are differant sizes of barrel bushing available or a gunsmith that can tighten up this early trap gun. The bushing is adjusted to the last notch and barrel is still loose.

    Call Del Greco, Illion, N.Y.

My 31 was loose as a goose as well.

I wouldn't go with a used part unless a professional installed it.

Mr. Del Greco told me at the Grand back in the late 70s he didn't have any 31 parts anymore, but things may have changed since then.

Check the lock up notch in the receiver as well.

Mine was shot with heavy loads and was worn badly. Good luck.

    Regards....Gerald

There are a few Remington 31 bushings on GunBroker now. Search Remington 31 bushing and they will come up.
