Remington 12 guage Hull I.D.

    If it is smooth, it sounds like a Peters (Remington) Blue Magic - loads same as STS...... Milt

    If is a current hull, it may be a promo load sold thru Gander Mountain. It may be a euro-trash hull, identified by the separate base wad. I stick with the one piece Game, Sport, Gun Club hulls personally.

    Is the base steel or brass? Check with a magnet, some are brass plated steel.

    Does it have a high hard plastic base wad....Remington made some blue hulls just like RXP back when, can't remember the name...Grubby...
