Found a good used 1100 trap model, looks clean and not abused. Old barrel no choke tubes. What are your opinions on this gun. Would be buying as a backup to my XT Trap.

I wouldn't. Not for a backup. Use the 1100 and save the XT for a backup.

I have four, shot the same one for 25yrs! Two are trapguns, one sporting 12, and one sporting 20ga. Since I check the gun I use on the weekend on Sunday night, I can replace anything needed before the next weekend. Very seldom have to replace a part.

I agree with Hippie. Use the 1100 and have the Browning for back-up, of course you probably won't need it.

Use the 1100 as back-up to the Browning and you'll probably shoot the 1100 more.

Fell into one of these for just under $400.00. Can you say steal????

Cannot beat the quality or the reliability, (spelling police?), .

Get a shell catcher so as not to annoy the shooter to your right.

    30" Mod bbl powders 16's.

Picked up a 24" IC and it does right well on girly skeet shoots.
