I have been offered to buy a Remington 1100 Tournament Grade "B" 20 gauge skeet shotgun. It has a VR 26" barrel, fixed skeet choke barrel , ivory front bead and very high grade wood. The gun appears to be in 98% condition and unaltered. The seller wants $775 and says they are not currently being produced and are scarce. My question is are these guns not being made and are they relatively available on the market?
    Thanks.

If it is the 20 gauge on the 12 guage frame it hasn't been made for many years. It is a sought after model. HMB

20 guage Tournament models are LT-20.

If it says Skeet - B on the side it could be a standard weight. the magazine tube will be the same diameter as a 12 guage.

There is no such thing as a Tournament "B" grade as far as I know.

It is a Skeet-B and the serial number ends in an X.It also appears to be a 12 gauge frame. Any idea on when they were last made?

    Thanks.

Call Remington with the serial number and they will tell all about the gun. The 20ga on a 12 frame is nice, until you need a part. Some of the parts for those guns are obsolete.

1977 was the last year for the full-size 20 gauge 1100.
