I am looking for a source for the large carrier release buttons for a Remington 1100.
    Thanks, Scott

If you don't find one email me, I'm going to make some of my own design in the near future. Ross

Dave's Metal Works used to make one that I had put on my 1100. You can slap it with the palm of your hand and it closes the action nicely. Call him and ask him - I looked at his site and didn't see them but I'd call anyway.

I just installed a easy closer from Dave's metal works. Works great, but now I can't install the shell catcher on the gun because the closer takes up too much room in the loading port. Gary L.

I ordered mine from Shotgun sports mag. Was a pain to install but really worth the effort. The unit is of excellent quality. Upper trip finger may have to be adjusted (bent) slightly to activate. Once adjusted it has worked great

Hopefully this is a pic of the Dave's Metal Works Easy Closer on my Rem 1187.
    Brownell's has them listed.

Shape a small piece of aluminum to fit on the existing release button. Polish and use double sided automotive detailing tape to attach to existing release button. Have put on a dozen or more and they are all still attached and working quite well. Got scrap aluminum flat barstock from local machine shop(they refused payment for a six inch piece) so the only cost was about $2.50 for the tape at a local automotive supply store and my time to make a dozen or so.
