Thinking about selling my Remington 1100 34" Fixed Full Choke Trap Barrel. Blueing is excellent. Can anyone give me an idea of the value? I've seen some go for as high as $300 and some for around $200. Are there any special features that increase or decrease the value?

Motivated (patient) Seller = value closer to $300; Anxious (needy) Seller = $200. Porting or aftermarket alterations of any kind generally decrease value. Regards, Ed

Very few people want one, but the ones who do want it bad. $ 300 to $350.
Any departure from the original as Old Goat said decrease the value.
The reason they're so rare is that Remington stopped making them because
no one was buying them. That was in the middle 70's. I had one, sold it for the $100 I paid for it, and was glad to get it.

As much as I'd like to try a 34 inch barrel on my 1100 I'm not ready to drop much more than $200 for the trial. My current 30 inch 1100 is the same length as my BT99 34 inch. That suggests the 34 inch 1100 would be comparable to a 36 inch BT99. Seems like a lot of barrel - but is still interesting.

I have a Hastings 34 inch wadlock barrel and it is long but it does not feel as long as you might think it would. I forget what I paid for it but would not sell it for $300, unless of course I get another itch to try????

I shot Remington 1100s for over 20 years. During that period I had two 34 inch barrels. Both were sent to Tom Seitz cut to 32 inch and choked to around 32 thousands. That set up is very nice.
