    Will Remington's 870 Competition trigger spring fit a 11-87? thanks in advance, Buck

    Okay, thanks...so, what can we do to light a heavy trigger pull...

    You can buy lighter springs for the trigger or you can just clip a coil or two off of the standard spring. Be judicious with the wire cutters because you can go too far with it. Test the trigger pull after each little clip.

    Did a little more searching for a solution...found the info on MidwayUSA website..seems thay may blieve the same sear spring might fit both the 11-87 and the 870..
