How can you determine the POI for a 3200? Since the rib is fixed is there any standard data available?

You need to pattern it to determine the POI... Dan Thome (Trap2)

You'll have to put it on paper to know for sure.

The POI for the top barrel is fixed, the POI for the bottom barrel is adjustable. HMB

I can only find two different hangers, a .060 and a .100. My 32" 3200 with the .060 hanger and when the top barrel is set to shoot 70% high, the bottom barrel shoots 100% high. John

You have to put the pattern on paper to determine the POI. Get some one at your local trap club to show you how to do that. You will learn a lot about your gun.

I guess I should call a barrel hanger what it is referred by Remington. Remington calls it a barrel band and it is part #2 on the parts list for 3200's. This barrel band goes on the front of the bottom barrel and is held in place by a dovetail and secured by a pin. You can measure it from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the bottom barrel. I have a .100 hanger in good shape I would trade for a .060. I think you can get information and parts by calling Laib's at 320-796-2686. John

A barrel hanger is a piece of metal fitted to the front of over under shotgun barrels. Remington 3200s and K-80s have front barrel hangers which hold the barrels together and change the POI of the lower barrel. The upper barrel is not affected by different hangers because it is supported by the rib. The upward or downward pressure that the hanger applies affects the lower barrel only because it is unsupported. HMB
