1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    For Sale: (possible trade)

Remington 1187 Premier trap with custom wood. 30" step rib "TARGET" barrel with factory Rem choke. Bore: .744 with tube marked full but measures .691 for .049" restriction ( XX-FULL??). Additional chokes available from Remington as well as Briley, Wright, Carlson, and others. Pull trigger. Shell catcher shown in Pic not included as it does not belong to me.

This is an extremely nice 1187. Shot very little. Metal and bluing are excellent, no marks from shell catcher which was on just for a trial run. Custom wood shows very nice grain, color, and finish. LOP: 14 1/4". DAC: 1 5/16". Deeper grip with cap that has a nice contrasting wood inlay (not engraved). Bottom of grip shows repeated marks from in and out of safe (minor and an easy fix). All in all this is a very attractive gun that will perform as new and look better while doing it.

    Price: $595.00 plus shipping.

If interested please contact me at the above email or PM only.

A PROSPECTIVE BUYER ASKED ME TO FIRE GUN TO MAKE SURE IT FUNCTIONS PROPERLY.
I SHOT A ROUND OF TRAP AND SMOKED EVERY TARGET, CYCLED PERFECTLY. IF THIS WERE A LEFT HAND MODEL YOU WOULD NOT SEE IT FOR SALE.

    Thanks, Marc

Just curious. Does this 11-87 use the same trigger assembly as the 1100? Are the trigger assemblies interchangeable?

The trigger groups of an 1100 and an 11/87 are interchangable, at least mine are.

The barrels are not but may be with a little modification.

The 11/87 Premier trap is a solid gun and I enjoy mine.

The 11/87 Premier trap is not pressure compensated and thus is limited to 3 1/4 - 1 1/4 pigeon loads and all the more common but less powerful standard trap loads.

My 11/87 Premier trap shoots 1 oz loads very softly and ejects them every time.

Did this gun start out as a field gun with the barrel and butt stock being switched out? Aren't most Remington target receivers marked as such (trap, skeet...)?

    Marc,
Good looking gun! I noticed your comment on the left handed.....Are you looking for a left handed 11-87? If so, I've got the same gun as well as an extra "target" barrel that I would be willing to part with.
