Ive had the gun probably 5-6 months and shot maybe 7-800 rounds, 4 or 5 rounds of sporting clays, a handful of rounds of trap, and shot some pheasants and chuckar with it, overthat period of time ive cleaned it once (excluding wiping the barrel and reciever down before putting it in he case) at the time i cleaned it the performance had not changed from the time i took it out of he box to that day the only reason i disassembled and cleaned it was because it was foggy the morning we went and shot sporting clays and i didnt wanted to rust, i hope that answers your question it really is a sweet gun and 800 rounds without cleaning and it still smooth as ever is pretty decent in my opinion

I believe you could go signifacantly over 1000 rounds without cleaning that gun and not have any problems

Remington sent me one last spring for a demo gun for the SW Grand.......I cleaned and lubed it when it came in and then set it out. It went well over a thousand rounds before I cleaned it again and sent it back.

I had one and shot it at trap but I couldn't get used to it. It feels heavier and the balance isn't like a regular 1100. Maybe it's just me but I like the feel of a regular 1100 trap much better. I sold it soon after I got it.

I do want to say that it looks to be a good quality gun. Just not for me.
