1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

SOLD-If you ever wanted to buy a matched set of Remington 1100's in 28 gauge and 410 bore, but missed your chance 43-44 years ago--here's a second opportunity. This set is amazing. The guns are still coated with factory grease, inside and out. I will let the new owner clean it off. The set is complete with authenticating paperwork, magazine weights, manual and vintage wooden plugs. Even the foam lining of the gun case is perfectly intact. in every other set I've seen in recent years, the foam has disintegrated into dust. A great set of vintage small bore 1100's, from the days when DuPont owned Remington and cared about what was shipped from Ilion! Shipped to the lower 48 for $1995.

I got one of these sets for Christmas in 1969. I still have the set and all the accessories . The interior of the cases was a darker green that was corrugated. You are correct that the interiors deteriorated over the years and most had to be replaced. Incredible to find a set in this condition. Saw a guy named Chris Brown win the World Shoot in the 410 with one just like these.

There but for the grace of my daughter's college tuition goes my matched set of 1100s.

Are the stocks walnut or mahogany?

That is the deal of the year if these guns are unfired.
