Reloading Winchester Super Target

    Does anyone know or tried to reload the Winchester Super Target hull? I was wondering if you could it the same load as the AA hull?

    Yep done it before just like AA's. The steel base hull is why i stopped.

    What kind of problems were you having with the steel base?

    Load'em once and let'em fly. Load same as AA's cheaper plastic and crimps only good for a couple times.................m

    No problems with steel base other than harder to size in my loader. I never had trouble finding regular AA hulls for free so wasn't worth my trouble fighting the Super Targets in my Pacific 366. I've also heard that steel base hulls can be a little rougher on your gun. I do not know if that is true though.

    Don--I did not know that about requiring more powder. I always used regular AA data. Not saying your wrong, i just didn't know that.

    Lyman says use AA data for Win polyformed hull/ steel base.

    I have no issues tossing after once or twice because of the thickness of the poly the same as I do with estates and top guns. A few thousand I am sure of the super targets. Love"em for doubles and just let them fly.
