I reload AA's and STS hulls. My crimp height is about 1/2 way between the AA and the STS setting...seems to work well for both. In view of this, the internal volume for both shells will be slightly different than factory specs. I suspect that when evaluating probable ballistics from published data I should "split the difference" between AA and STS data for a given powder/primer/wad combo? Probably not a significant variable, except at the extremes?
