I'm trying to get back into reloading after a long absense. Can anyone recommend a good dealer in the Pittsburgh area that carries a large inventory of powders, wads, primers? I stopped on my way home from work today at Gander Mountain and Anthony Arms and besides the fact they didn't have the powder I wanted, their prices are so far out of line, it would be a last gasp for me to buy anything from them. I need to resurrect Leo's Gun Shop or someplace like that. Thanks in advance!

CAC Associates in Ebensburg, PA isn't very far from Pittsburgh. Call and tell Terry what you want and they'll have your stuff ready when you get there. No one beats their prices, or stocks the variety and magnitude of supplies they offer. Here's their website: http://www.cacassociatesinc.com/

    all the best....mike

Yup. CAC for sure, and they can't be more than 100 miles due east of you. Probably less. Bill, Bill, Terry...it doesn't matter. Top notch organization.

I just checked my map, John. Downtown Pittsburgh to Ebensburg is 66 miles.

There is a place in Bridgeville. I can't remember the name right now but it is in the yellow pages. The phone # starts with 412 221 ----. I'll see if I can find it for you later. The guys at ACRC usually get to gether and place an order with a company in Ohio. Go up there some Wed. night. Bulge.

Try Denny's Sporting Goods, which despite the name, is mostly a shotgun reloading place. Good prices. He is in Hubbard OH, just a mile north of I-80. Phone number is 330 534-3707. Wide selection of powder, wads, press parts and bushings, and shot.

A.C.R.C. just got a load last month. The next time might be in March. Depends on how fast they use up their birds.

They use Denny's reloading supply in Hubbard OH.
