I have the oppurtunity to buy a large quantity of Claybuster 4118( Windjammer Style) wads. Trouble is that I can't find much for recipes. Anyone have any info. I shoot 1 oz and 1 1/8 oz loads. I am not a name brand snob and have access to AA,gun club, STS, and estate once fired hulls. I appreciate you time, Al

For what it its worth, I had nothing but negative success using CB windjammer & lightning wads. The wad post is too weak & caused the wad to get cocked in the case--bad seal-- bloopers & squibbers.I used several recipes & cases, some were better than others but still no consistancy. I have some clear Fiocchi cases that allowed me to see the cocked wad. My advice is to try a few & see.

If you like them, I've got 5 bags of them that I'd be happy to get rid of.

Thanks for the info. I guess I know why they are trying to get rid of them. I will stick to what I know.

While I have never used the Windjammer style wads, I've had a lot of good luck with the Claybuster AA clones - never any issues.
