Start off dropping the hammer on snap caps to get the feel of the release. Takes several hundred targets to get to the point you no longer need to think the new shot process through. Takes several thousand targets to get used to the new timing, or get centered on the targets. The realese will feel and seem faster. Although the lock time has not changed or if shooting the same ammo the shot out the barrel would not be changed. Its a perception created by a relaxing release move compared to the muscle contration of pulling.

Never used one myself, but based on other posts, I would think it would be a good idea to practice disabling the trigger set without firing.

That way, the first time you call for a target and don't get one, you know how to disable the trigger set, and you're not there with a set trigger thinking, "oh sh@t, now what?".
