1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I have a very nice Wincchester era TM1 with mostly original metal. The blue on the bbl is fine, but the receiver and trigger are off to Doug Braker for blue. When that gets back I am trying to put a true handicap gun together as the bbl appears original, but wiht a .729 bore and .043 FC. It should shoot lazer beams. The stock on the gun may be OK, (I'll get pics of that up later) and the forend is the fatter style of the early guns.

So, I am entertaining the purchase of newer style wood fo rthis gun. If yo have someiting like that, holler at me.

I'll take some pics later today of the parts I have and perhaps that will jostle soem old piece of hickory out of your safe...

    Thanks. Jack

My stuff will ship from Doug's today (just talked to him as we needed to get the sears re-honed back to 3 lbs. Doug does great trigger jobs. the recvr, trigger guard, the trigger frame all in new blue like Marc's. The bbl is in fine shpae . Thsi gun is just till Tuesday to be reassemlbed. The bbl is the fixed full, non ported. I'll get a pic of the reast of the parts now an polst it.

Lotta good smiths out there... Doug is terrific.

I do not know whose recoil reduction device is in the stock. The gun would be a bit more visually balanced If I put a new pad on the gun. I prob will put a Kickeze on it. The stock is 14.5 and was a MC prior to the recoil device.

This is a tapered rib Winchester era ggun prob from 79. the parts match. The concentric rings in the bbl are perfect. This gun is a turkey shoot/Annie protection gun if I ever saw one.

    It is for sale.

Rick. Good info. I shoot a bead+ space on my MX3 to the tune of 100% high.

I just got rid of a completely stock TM1 that was a Perazzi USA import. It shot 90/10 at the very least. It also has an .043 choke and absolutely turns target to dust.
