I am looking for published data to reload 12 guage STS hulls with 1 ounce shot, red dot powder,**winchester primers**, cb 1100 wads or equlivant, without having to buy remington primers or wads.

I use Red Dot and Winchester primers but I'm not crazy about CB wads because extra plastic in the bore and bent over shot petals don't do anything positive for me.

Go to the Alliant web site. I use 17.4 gr but that is a light load.

Ditto what miketmx said. I went to Green Dusters and have better results.

I use reddot, the green STS wad and Remington STS primer. Bit expensive but nice load. Look at the Alliant website for more info.

I use around 18 to 18.5 grains of Red Dot or Promo with the CB110-12 wad, 1 oz of shot, and the Winchester primer in the STS or Gun Club hulls. I think the load was originally listed in one of the Lyman books. The velocity will run from about 1200 to around 1240 fps over my chronograph.

You're shooting practically the same load I've been using for a number of years. STS hull, WW primer, 17 gr. Red Dot and XL-1 or XL-1 Jammers wads from DownRange Mfg. Velocity is 1200 +, low recoil and great patterns. This load was tested by Kevin at the DR mfg. co. Great load.
