red dot, sts, w209 loads

    Pulll, when I talked to the tech at Hodgdon's website using some loads for clays that I could not find data on he told me I could use the Win. AA primer and substite it in place of the Rem. primer, but told me to back off .5 tens of a grain of powder because the Win. AA primers are a bit hotter. If you find load data on the lower side on pressures, I am sure you can do this. It may not be OK of some loads on the high side of pressures. You can call a tech at alliant powder to be sure.     pullll, I've been using W209 primers with Red Dot for 1oz loads for years.

    Here is my all time favorite using Red Dot. STS hull, W209 primer, 16.8gr Red Dot, TGT-12 wad, 1oz hard shot. Approximately 1150fps.
