I seen today that the price of mined lead is $1.03 per Lb. When will it stop going up?

Two problems causing record lead prices. 1. Huge demand for military ammo, not just USA, but also huge orders by Iraq. 2. Declining value of US $. Lead is priced on international markets. In just three years, the Euro is up 40% against the dollar. That means our costs for lead (and oil, gold, silver, grain, etc, etc) is up 40% more than it is in Europe. Think trade deficits and budget eficits.

Keeps going like this, you'll need a grocery bag of dollars to buy a pack of gum.
