The wife is going skiing at Lake Tahoe and I'm going shooting for a week near the end of February this year.

Anyone have any recommendations for good trap shooting clubs I can visit while we're there?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Sage Hill, Capitol City (Carson), and Fallon.

Sage Hill will be the closest.

If you are in North Shore, Sage Hills is closest. If you are in
South Shores, then Capital City Clays in Carson City.
Last time I was there I actually shot both of them and had a great time.
Check the schedule because C.C.C's has ATA Big 50's.

We'll be staying in South Lake Tahoe area from February 25th thru March 3rd. Looks like there are several places to try while I'm there. I'm not worried about an hour or two drive.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Carson City has skeet, trap, and sporting and usually all are available. Sage Hill has all that too and the experience of throwing big shoots. You might even run into Dan Orlick at Sage Hill.......breakemall

Looks like I'll be going to Fallon first (they were the first to offer their facilities) and then going to Sage Hill and Carson city.

    Thanks for the recommendations folks!

I agree Falon is a very friendly and effeciently run club. I might be predjudice since I'm a member but it's true the others are fine clubs too, Carson City I might add has good prices on reloading components plus a neat gun shop upstairs.

Keep in mind that Fallon is another 60 miles past Carson City - about another hour's drive after you get to CC.

Fallon has a great range and they offer skeet. Carson has tom forbes who is the best man to deal with when buying a gun.
