I second the Hi Viz. I use a medium green insert, but color or size really does not matter. If you look at the target, which of course you should, the bead will be in your peripheral vision so prominently you will NOT need to bead check.

I like the Uni-Dot because it has the built in crossfire preventer hood. I use the P200 but the P210 model is also the small 2 mm diameter and comes with interchangeble light sticks.

I've found my Hi-Viz Comp works best without a light pipe.

I like just a white Bradley best, even just a little gold bead works OK. What I ->DON"T<- want is something so big and bright that it draws my attention away from the target.

I use Chris Vendels front white bead on my K-80 it's the smallest white bead I have ever seen.

Some All-Americans use each of the beads mentioned on the responses before mine. There is no right or wrong answer here.

Thanks for all of the input. I think i might try the Hi-Viz sight. At least that one is a screw in compared to the adhesive that I have. Who knows if i even put it on straight.

I've been out of state for a few days.

Looks like the Devil took care of you, just click on his link.

I had Chris install mine at the Grand in Sparta last year. I saw these beads installed on Pat McCarthys K-80 and asked Pat where he got them. He took me over next door to Chris's shop and he installed them for me there.
