Just bought a 302 and saw on the Beretta website about replacing the recoil spring. How do I know when to replace it and how so I replace it?

    Thanks
    Jim

Jim they are very easy to replace and if you have no idea about the current round count on the spring just spend the 8.00 and get a new one. If you shoot it 5000 rounds a year i would replace it before the start of each season. No ned to replace it and leave it all winter just wait for the new season to start and then do it. Also do NOT leave the action open and locked open on an auto for long periods of time. The springs can be found on here and thru Cole's or Brownells.
