I'm working on getting a O/U fixed up to start shooting doubles for fun.
I have a recoil reducer on my single gun. What are your thoughts on reducers on a double gun?

With a Shockmaster it will fully return before you can pull the trigger a second time. Mike

Mike is right. I have three G2 that he installed for me, and they work. I've used others that also work, but I prefer G2 for it's light weight - doesn't change balance of the gun.

Lead shot in the stock bolt hole cavity. Better than any reducer.

Pour some lead shot into a sock and toss it. Bet it won't bounce, and, honestly it's all about F=ma. MASS

Hard to type today; lost a fight with a table saw yesterday.

I lost no fingers, but did cut two in about half, no bone.

You know the old saying about being all used up by the time we get to The Pearly Gates... that's me.

Lost part of RH middle finger putting a lift-kit in the one Silverado a couple of years ago; axle fell onto a jack stand with my hand at rest. Surgeon and I are friends, and she said she knew that I was NOT a surgeon, and when I responded with a "Np" in regard to playing the piano, she shucked the end into the waste basket. Now, if I flip anyone off, they just laugh.

    Trigger finger is intact!

Boy it's damn hard typing w/ right hand.
