I am looking to put a recoil pad adjuster plate on my shotgun, I don't need to adjust length of pull on that particular one, but would like to be able to drop and cant the pad for a better fit.

    sooooo....

which one(s) are easiest and most durable to work with?

    jones?

    100 straight?

    gra-coil?

    other?

    Thanks

I stock and install all of the above but the one that is most popular in my shop is the 100 Straight. It's thin and provides "through the pad" adjustment.

    Joe,
The 100 Straight is the same thickness as the Jones adjuster.

The best pad adjuster is one that adjusts thru the pad (will not have as much range of adjustment as the ones with 2 or 3 adjustments behind the pad) and has steel inserts for the pad mounting screws ...some are just threaded into the aluminum plate

We have a one screw thru the pad adjustable butt pad that we manufacturer here and also sell. It can be seen on the above web site under the products page. There are stainless inserts for the pad screws and the other hardware is also stainless steel. Each plate is 3/16" thick and the plate moves left to right spins left to right and moves up and down 1-1/2". The material is 6061 T-6 aluminum. Thank you,

I believe the Jones unit measures .200" and the 100 straight measures .250.

I like the Jones unit because there's no big ugly hole in the pad. Once it's adjusted....your done.

If you re-install the plug that you remove from the pad for the through the pad adjustment, you won't see it, just remember to remove the "I" in Kick-eez.
