1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Does anyone have knowledge of current prices on reclaimed shot? I've been quoted $35 a bag is this reasonable? And shipping is exorbitant ,any comments?

$17.50 a bag here in Texas but shipping it to Australia might be a little tuff.

$35/Bag for reclaimed shot seems pretty high Mike, that is about what new shot is going for on the West side of our country. I would think you could do better in your area.

I'm paying $31/bag for new shot in NY. I would never pay more than $20/bag for reclaimed shot.

The problem here in central east coast Florida is no one is stocking lead shot! The clubs that do order shot in bulk are getting $38 a bag for members and non members alike! Local reclaimed shot is not very clean or graphited,I'm at my wits end tryiong to keep costs down to where me and my son can afford to keep shooting,he's a college student and I'm retired.

    $35 for reclaim is crazy.

If money is the issue, and you are just shooting for fun, go to 7/8 oz loads. (28% savings). You will get over 450 loads per bag. 7/8 oz is OK for 16 yard and recoil will be less too. This is a better solution than crappy reclaim.

In Florida (no cold targets), you can likely use 8 1/2 shot and you will get about the same pellet count as 1 1/8 oz of 7 1/2's; or 1 oz of 8's so pattern density will be fine.

I used to shoot a lot of 1 oz 8's for practice. 1 oz gives you 400 loads per bag. (13% savings over 1 1/8 oz)

I've been getting it in SoCal @ $ 18 / 25 lbs. That would be like $50 for 2 bags shipped to FL.
