Was wondering how your reclaimed shot is doing? I figure its ok at 16 yards but wonder how its working for you in handicap. How far back have you tried it?

Sam..... I have been shooting reclaimed shot for singles and both shots in doubles with excellent results. I ran 100 straight in our last registered singles event with it 2 weeks ago. I just shot some loaded up to my handicap load spec's for fun this past weekend and ran 49/50 from the 27yd. line. I don't make a habit of shooting reclaimed in handicap, but it was very enlightening. The breaks were solid and I really couldn't tell the difference between the reclaimed and my standard 71/2 handicap load. For my practice, reclaimed works just fine, and I will continue to use it until shot becomes reasonable again, if it ever does. For registered shooting, however, I use new shot only for handicaps.....Dan Thome (Trap2)

Where do I find reclaimed shot? What does it cost, and what needs to be done to it before you can load it?
