Toward the end of the video, a fellow has it right. He says "First big wind and the protest ends".

It likely will not move to warmer climes because little sympathy exists in the south.

This is not "American Spring". IN America, you have free expression, government protections, freedom to learn, work and grow.

Most of these protesters are proponents of their own concept of socialism. Should this get out of hand, or begin to cripple NYC or other cities, the democrats will suffer badly in next years election.

I believe the democrats are paying the price already.

Lets see. These kids are standing up for something they believe in. Most of them are students who have taken off time from school or graduates who can't find jobs. And what are they saying? "The Wall Street and banking system is in favor of socialism for them and capitalism for everyone else." The financial system response: "We'll take big risks. if it works out we make a lot of money. If it doesn't, you bail us out and we still make a lot of money." The demonstrators don't have any solutions, but no one else seems to either. So, what the problem. Probably few trapshooter among them.

I wonder how many of us have been willing to make a significant sacrifice of our time to demonstrate for or against something.

Air & Space Museum closed by demonstrators

    Oct 8 05:10 PM US/Eastern - By JESSICA GRESKO - Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) - Washington's National Air and Space Museum is closed after demonstrators tried to enter the building with signs and at least one person was pepper-sprayed.

Smithsonian spokesman John Gibbons says a group of demonstrators, estimated between 100 and 200 people, arrived at about 3 p.m. Saturday and tried to enter the free museum.

Gibbons says when a security guard tried to stop them, saying they could not enter with the signs, he was apparently held by demonstrators. A second guard used pepper spray on at least one person and the crowd dispersed. One woman was arrested.

A number of groups have been demonstrating in the city in the past week, including members of Stop The Machine and Occupy D.C., a group modeled on the Occupy Wall Street movement.
