You want a real recovery? Then the government must allow the free market to restructure our economy. Both government and individuals must spend less and save more. We need to allow interest rates to rise, asset prices to adjust to economic realty, insolvent businesses the right to die a natural death and wages to reflect productivity. Government subsidies that distort market forces need to be removed and over burdensome regulations that undermine our competitivness must be repealed.

Unfortunately, none of this can happen without pain. However, the sooner we swallow the medicine the quicker an authentic recovery with plenty of new jobs can take place that don't rely upon government stimulus. If we refuse to allow the economy to go through a real recession, we'll never experience a real recovery. We'll simply continue for years with this low grade fever or worse, with an appearance of positive indicators that merely hide the rot just below the surface.

Couldn't of said it better myself. The problem is politicians and the peolpe that vote them in.Short sighted s.o.b.s that can't see past there own nose.If we don't start taking some lumps right now we will never get out of this.Instead of voting for what is good for the country voters and politicians are voting for what is immidiately good for themselves.Just got to quit spending.

until we have an incentive to work and keep what we work for , there will not be a strong America. Handouts are too easy and taxes too high to achieve this now.
