Trapshooters read my post on Perazzi Quality.

The way it used to be, and should have been the way it is today. Pertaining to shooters then and now.

The insufferable and widely-discredited site hack with bones to pick against nearly every trap organization he's ever set foot in (from large to small), attempting to curry favor on a public forum by plastering up sepia-toned nostalgic musings about "the way it used to be?"

Based on such highly original themes as "Perazzis are good," "Old Time shooters were better," and "Federal Papers smell good?"

(The hell you say. Next you'll tell me Arnold Riegger's mom made better apple pie than Nancy Pelosi).

    Nah...think I'll pass, ShortShot.

    What buzz-gun and partygirl said.

How naive can one be to think the decline in trapshooting is caused solely by a few degrees difference in field width?

How many types of competition and entertainment were available in the late 60's. How many are available today? Today, it's virtually unlimited.

    Very good point Setterman.

Perazzi has had the title of Rolls Royce of the shotguns and their records prove it. Their have been new trapgun introductions since the Perazzi came on the scene, the number of Perazzi's sold has increased over the years, because of shooters like Ray Stafford, Dan Bonillas and others.

Perazzi builds a qiualty gun. Shoot your Perazzi well. I have owned numerous of them. My TM-1 Special was my best Perazzi of them all.

So, every Perrazi should be accompanied by a brass band? The Perazzi reputation speaks for itself, but good grief, there are other fine guns.

Perazzi fades in the shadow of a Silver Seitz.

Please go easy on those supposed records from the distant past. Several of the shooters mentioned were professional trap readers. Wider angle targets didn't mean much if you knew where they were going or straightened them out. Interrupters were added for a reason. I was there!!

OK Gary, instead of just stating "this is the way it should have been", lets take a deeper look into your evaluation of circumstances...

What are the perimeters that you have used for this data? Where and who was it obtained from? What was the total number of participants used in your analysis to form this end result? How many states and number of clubs in each of those used? What was the approximate number of targets registered per each of those polled? What was the average number of years spent registering targets of each? Was a specific year of intial registering of targets used?

Those are a few of the items that would be necessary to even begin an assumption based assurtion such as yours. Hopefully although I seriously doubt, you have even begin to give any thought to what you speak of outside of your own personnal desire and a few who surround you!

Speaking of those that surround you, I suspect that I know a few of those. But inparticular one. A retired All American. If so tell him hello and also that he is acting like a true politician.LOL

I really don't know much about this gun, and not particularly interested either, but is Silver Seitz is a copy of Ljutic?

I noticed Bowen's guns mentioned in an above response. Are any of them still working?

The only similarities between a Seitz and a Ljutic is that their
    both single barrels.
