1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

What is the correct foam material to re-build a soft top comb?

Also, has anyone ever used leather to cover the comb? I have marine vinyl on it now, but think leather would feel better on the face...

Ian, I had Country Gentleman redo my soft top comb on the old Beretta a couple of years ago. They use a special memory foam that is not supposed to deteriorate with time and use. They cover it with leather. Very nice work, guaranteed for life ... $100. Bill Malcolm

Ian, I`ve done a bunch of them with leather. I couldn`t tell you what type of material it is that I use, but when I found it I bought a 4'X8' sheet. $300 worth. I haven`t had any trouble with it breaking down. I heard your name called for a shoot off at The Great Eastern I think, or maybe Dallas. Can`t remember, but was going to introduce myself to you and got side tracked. Larry
