Re-sale value with R.A.D. System

    I sold a KX5 with a RAD on it. Like a lot of custom work, don't expect much back on what you paid for it. I think the gun would have sold for just as much without it. I also believe that the costlier the gun the less likely something like a RAD will appeal to another buyer and in fact I think its likely to hurt the resale of a gun at the higher end of the scale.

    When ever you alter anything, you tend to loose out on the add ons at resale. A 1000.00 radio in a 1500.00 car is still a 1500.00 car. But there is a ass for every seat.

    I think it depends on what the buyer is looking for sometimes. I persoanlly would pay more for a gun with the RAD

    As noted, the added features are really for your benefit / enjoyment, and won't necessarily add to resale.
