At the present I am stacking the beads to form an 8.
If I raise the comb how will I shoot? High or Low?
The beads will not stack if the comb is raised??

    Thanks

    David

It will shoot higher unless you cram your head down to get a figure 8. There is no rule that you have to have a figure 8. If your stock fits, you do not need to look at your sights. D Winter

David If you raise the comb the gun will shoot higher. If you move the comb to the right the gun will shoot to the right. With my beads stacked my gun shoots 4" high at 35yards. I have my comb raised so that my gun shoots 12" high at 35yards. Forget stacking and learn to live seeing rib between the beads or remove the middle bead to avoid confusion.

If you have a adjustable rib you can raise the poi then adjust the comb so that you see the figure 8. if no adjustable rib, then like chipking said. learn to live with rib between the beads. rascott

I raised my comb to get a POI 6" high at 33 yards. I liked the idea of stacking the beads as a check on my mount so I installed a higher mid bead to make it work.

I seldom look at it but if I want to check my mount it's right there.

Charlie--Thanks, this sounds like a good idea, I am going to try it as a check point.

Funny, I always raise or lower my comb so the gun shoots where I look 1st. Than I set the adjustable rib to see the perverbial figure 8. If you set the rib 1st than adjust the comb the fig 8 will no longer be there one way or the other.

    to quote rascott
