What are the most affordable radar guns for setting target speed?

    Thanks, Bill

Affordable or best Bill? Two different questions. My .02 worth is spend the money for the better one if you're involved in registered shooting. The lessor one should meet your needs for regular informal shooting. They will put you within 1 MPH, whereas the better one will put you within 1/10 MPH. Your call. Good luck and good shooting, Bob

PS. Bob Schultz is a good source on the East Coast.

Here's the Decatur yellow gun @ 629.00. Probably the best price around. If you can't spend this much get the SR3600 that Bob sells for $279.00. Either way, read the rule book on usage.

Affordable, reliable, and reasonably accurate. This is for informal and practice shooting. The ground slopes rather steeply in front of the trap, making it difficult to measure distance. No need to know speed any closer than +/- 1 mph.

Thanks for the information. I called Bob, it sounds like the SR3600 is what we need.

You'll be happy with it Bill. We've got both.
