I went to a shoot last weekend. In the morning the targets were set with a radar gun placed at the front of the traphouse. Another group checked the targets in the afternoon for the handicap and they held the radar gun at the 16 yard line. Does it make a difference where the gun is held?

    Thank in advance.

Set from the 16 if your gun can do it. If you set from inside house, read the correct number in the rulebook. They _are not_ the same. Use one or the other if you must- but use the 16 if you can.

I set them from post three on the 16 yard line with the trap locked to throw straight away targets. I use the Pro Speed Decatur radar gun. I check the targets throughout the day from the 27 yard line when other squads are shooting. If I wait long enough, I can get straight away targets.
