    Friends,
    1) What changes if any are needed on my 1100 Classic Trap to accept a Hastings High Rib Trap barrel? If changes are made to accept the Hastings can I go back to the old barrel?
2 My 1100 has a fixed comb. Is an adjustable comb necessary to compensate for the "high" rib?
    3) Any feedback pro or con on the Hastings barrel is welcome.
Thanks as always for the great info on this site.

First, you will need to enlarge the barrel's extractor slot a few thousandths of an inch because the extractor of the 1100 Classic Trap is actually an 1187 extractor. Using the old barrel is therefore a non-issue. As far as the installation of an adjustable comb is concerned, that depends more on your physical characteristics and their relationship with the higher rib of the Hastings barrel. The barrel itself is very good; I never shot better than when I had the Hastings barrel (I also had a Frank Hoppe class at the same time, and that may have had something to do with it as well!) It's a great barrel! Good luck!

Enlarge extractor slot or modify the extractor, raise the comb of the butt stock, trim the forearm to fit (if required), and get both chokes. Full and IM are offered as far as I know. I think the IM is the ticket for most shooting and the Full is OK for the back fence. An adjustable butt plate might be another option.
