Some friends of mine have a pair of 20 guage side by side shotguns by the Spanish maker Ugartechea, highly engraved and case hardened, etc., in excellent, almost new condition. They are interested in selling them, and asked if I knew of any dealers who might have an interest in them. They are fine guns, but I know nothing about the maker -- anyone know dealers who might have an interest?

    In advance, many thanks,

    Pete

Ugartechea is a mid-range maker unlike some of the finer makers like Arrizabalaga or Arrieta. Their guns are very good but not top of the line.

Thanks birdogs -- that's good info. The guns are highly engraved, and from their tour of the factory indicated to me that it was all hand done. But, wood wasn't spectacular, no gold inlay, etc.

Any idea of US based companies that deal in them?

I have a 20 ga. that I love. It's a plain Jane mod. but it shoots great! Hap

Pete, check the above on Cabelas. While it's a 12 gauge, it might give a good starting point.

These guns are imported by Lion Country Supply. I think there are 5 grades. You might check with them on value.
