Question on Older BT99

    May I ask how to remove the trigger quard from the trigger assembly of an older BT-99? Thanks. JM

    JM, Carefully remove the screw that goes thru the tang and into the wood. Raise (pry) the tang and hold above the wood surface with mild pressure while twistig CC to unscrew from receiver. Just be careful not to mar the wood. Marc

    First remove the wood screw that screws into the stock, & then (I've been told) just turn the entire trigger guard counterclock wise & unscrew it from the receiver. Again, I've never removed mine but was told by a gunsmith how to do it if I ever wanted to.
