question on mauser action, pictures added

    sorry about how long pictures took, i messed up my computer. Here are the pictures of the waffenfabrik mauser, oberndorf-a/n-1900 it is also stamped L222 the barrell sais 22-2550.Thanks for any help you can give me if this is one of the good actions or not. Thanks from larry.

    well would ask how much ammo has gone down tube??? about 5000 and barrl is trash action is good if you feed from mag well its not a drop single

    actually the rifling in the barrell is perfect, this is a very accurate shooting rifle.

    One of the old cock-on-closing actions. They are very good, but not made for 60,000 PSI rounds. 50,000 PSI is where they need to live.

    Husqvarna made some great 9.3X62 medium rifles with these actions. The Nine-Point-Three is no fun to shoot at 60K anyhow.

    What Marv said. I would use 60 gr bullets and a case full of slow powder. You will still have the oomph at 300+ yards with lower pressures. Your barrel and brass will live longer, too. Can't say that about the varmints.
