I've shot steel in my Gold E but it is somewhat incapacitated at the moment (comb repairs).

Is there any reason I can't shoot steel in my 1972 BT99 with a fixed full choke?

In spite of the heat I'm thinking of visiting Naperville this evening.

    Larry,

    You should be ok.

See you there and bring that BT. Or you can shoot the fixed full choke in the Kuhner. Maybe it's time.

    Larry...

In the January/February issue of Shooting Sportsman magazine, on page 40, Tom Roster specifically quotes a response from Browning. Browning had done some destruction tests using their firearms and concluded that steel shot could be used in any of their fixed choke guns made in Japan, specifically excluding their Belgium-made guns...
