Have you been noticing the price of guns continuing to go down, or up? I ask as a way to find out if the economy really is getting better. Thanks, Jim

Depends. Most guns are going up in price.

Some that were in high demand are now coming down in price as demand has slacked off. Specifically the AR15.

Winchester is slated to bring back the Model 94 next year. Except it's going to be close to $1100 MSRP. Yeah... good luck with that.

There have been some used guns for sale on this site at ridiculously low prices, and most of them haven't been sold, yet.

Example: 391 Beretta Parllel target Optima $700
    Browning BT-99 (looked new) 750
Perazzi 34" TM-1, adj. soft comb, adj. pad Allem release $1,550.

Higher end guns, too. Prices from 20 years ago. Yes they're going down.

Newbies getting into the sport are keeping the price of most new guns going up...used guns seems to be another matter.
