1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

Question about vintage trap throwers

    Does any one know were I can buy replacement parts or rebuilt parts for a vintage cast iron, single trap thrower, circa 1930, 1940, made by Western Cartridge Co, East Alton, Ill., In particular the holding part for the clay bird?

    Memory fails me a t times but isn't that the same as the hardware on the Winchester hand thrower? Might be able to adapt from one of them.

    Western traps are plentiful. You should be able to find one for parts on ebay. The carrier on Remington hand traps will also work if you don't need original parts.
